As an ActivCare Coach you can improve your residents physical wellbeing across a wide range of conditions including: Improved heart and lung condition, increased strength, motor fitness and balance, stronger bones, better coordination and improved agility and flexibility.
As an ActivCare Coach your sessions will encourage residents to socialise with one another and your team. Regular sessions can therefore create a community and allow friendships to grow, improving participants social wellbeing.
As an ActivCare Coach you can improve your residents cognitive function through physical activity. It increases heart rate, which pumps more oxygen to the brain which aids the bodily release of hormones which provide a nourishing environment for the growth of brain cells, as well as helping to lower the release of stress hormones.
As an ActivCare Coaches you can improve residnets mental wellbeing by increasing their confidence and self-esteem. Physical activity causes the release of endorphins in the brain which increases levels of happiness and satisfaction. By taking part in an ActivCare session participants can gain a happier mental state.
