Our story
Our mission is to help adults in care settings improve their health and wellbeing by offering care professionals and volunteers fun, interactive training and ongoing CPD support. The ActivCare Training team has over 15 years worth of experience in improving the wellbeing of older adults through fun and effective physical activity.
Training Courses & CPD Resources
At ActivCare Training our Training Courses and CPD Resources enable you to deliver high quality activity sessions to help improve the health and wellbeing of people in your care.
We help people and organisations who want to make an impact to the wellbeing of adults in their care – those that are trying to deliver high standards under tough commercial pressures.
We support you throughout your training process to help you gain the skills and knowledge to make a difference to the wellbeing of those in your care consistently.
Through our ongoing development we ensure our services are unique and industry leading and teach you exciting new delivery tools and techniques.
Good quality activity provision doesn’t just benefit your participants physically, it also improves their social and emotional wellbeing as well as their cognitive function. Physical activity helps older people or individuals with disabilities become more involved in their community and being involved in a group activity allows people to socialise more often and form strong social connections.
As well as this, consistent and effective activity provision in care can help reduce falls and physical illnesses, helping to keep your residents out of hospital and in their home.
As well as our training, you can also access our Keep Activ Subscription which includes continued support from our friendly team, virtual seated dance and exercise sessions, lesson plans, physical activity games, relaxation exercises, seasonal activity packs and bonus dance routines!
